Episode's summary

This morning on the Jeremy Kyle Breakfast Show unpacks the decision that Labour had made to come to their senses! New drilling for gas in the North Sea is set to be approved today after energy prices spiked to a brutal four-year high. Miatta Fahnbulleh, the Energy Secretary—who, by the way, is currently attacking Shabana Mahmood—is expected to give the green light to the Jackdaw project after months of endless delays. Now, remember: the Tories originally granted permission for this field—150 miles east of Aberdeen—back in 2022, before climate activists dragged it through the courts and had it ruled unlawful. Let’s see how long it takes the activists to scupper this one, shall we? Meanwhile, the fate of Rosebank—the UK’s last major untapped oil reserve, 80 miles west of the Shetland Islands—still hangs in the balance. All of this, mind you, despite Labour’s explicit manifesto promise to stop issuing new North Sea licences! Last night, MPs voted through the Northern Ireland Troubles Bill by 330 votes to 178,…

With Angela Rayner already tearing into the plan over foreign care workers, Labour’s Cabinet is now in OPEN WARFARE over who gets to stay in Britain! And sticking with migrations - President Trump just ISSUED A WARNING to Republicans ahead of the Mid Terms. Turning to Northern Ireland. Well look at the state of it…Absolute mayhem in Paris and Milan for a second night as protests see streets set ablaze and luxury stores looted. So far there’s been 2 '400 arrests and who does Macron blame? - For once he points the finger at the ‘ultra left’. President Trump blamed immigration for the disorder. Megapoll Madness

Jeremy Kyle discusses whether Burnham will now go for an early election? A new mega-poll has handed Prime Minister Andy Burnham and the Labour Party a massive 56-seat Commons majority, with Reform pushing hard in third place right behind the Tories. Meanwhile, in the Tory leadership clash... Kemi’s ratings rise with Reform voters after she attacks the party in an ‘only whites can be English’ row! Kemi’s approval leapt from 40 per cent to 57 per cent among Reform UK voters when they were shown video clips of her saying she didn't want to live in a country run by people who 'debate whether my mixed-race children are English'. Piddington Women Lose Vote

Jeremy Kyle unpacks an attempt to halt plans to house up to 1,250 asylum seekers near the village of Piddington (Bicester Garrison) have FAILED. A reminder that this is a village of just 350 people. Yesterday the Conservatives forced a Commons vote on the issue. The motion called for the plan to be scrapped and for the UK to leave the ECHR so illegal migrants can be deported. Labour led the vote AGAINST it and defeated it 309 to 113. Every Labour MP who voted said no to blocking it, and the Lib Dems didn't even turn up. The government said similar sites to that at Bicester had operated "for years" with "no evidence of any significant increase in criminality". Calum Miller, who is the MP for Bicester and Woodstock, accused Kemi Badenoch's party of "playing party politics with our local issue". He also argued that leaving the ECHR was not the answer as it would "weaken vital protections for British citizens". Meanwhile we hear the camp will need bat licences to protect endangered species to go ahead say police…
