Episode's summary

Hellooo Mossies, it’s spooky szn but there’s no need to be afraid because the witching hour is here and we’re back with another episode to ward off your weekday scaries!! In this Halloween special, we’re taking the hauntings head on AKA reacting to ghost stories sent in by our lovely listeners. Are ghosts actually misunderstood? Is the lady in the white saree just getting with the pastel wedding trend? And where do the horrors of existing as a woman fit in? After some very dramatic readings of certified creepy paranormal experiences, Sakshi & Naina also dropped some banger horror movie recommendations for you (just in case this episode didn’t give you your spooky fix). We end with a classic game of WHAT’S SCARIER - where we’re pitting horror movie tropes against the real horrors of being a girl in this world. Get under a blanket, keep the lights on, and send this to the friend who accompanies you to the bathroom. Tell us your favourite horror movie in the comments, and don’t forget to like, share, hype and…

Ultimate MOS Guide To Stop Being A Good Girl

Hellooo Mosquites and MOSSIES, this week’s agenda: be a b*tch. Friday has come around and this very special episode has Sakshi and Naina dissecting the good girl behaviours that hold women back while they attempt to exorcise your fear of being called a b*tch. Why does standing up for ourselves come with so much guilt? Why are we still saying “no worries” when we have several? And how do we stop needing everyone to think we’re nice? The girls get into it all + we revisit the times we thought we were being bitches, only to realise that's just what was needed in the moment. Chronic good girls and helpless people pleasers, this one's for you: the ultimate MOS guide to being a bitch. Hit play, send this to your most apologetic friend, and tell us about your proudest bitch moment in the comments. Like, share, subscribe, and we’ll see you next week! Is It Better To Travel With Your Friends Vs Partner?

HELLOOO MOSquitoes - your Friday delivery from MOS is here and we’re not even asking for an OTP. [BUT WE ARE ASKING YOU TO PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION AROUND THE 30-MIN MARK FOR THIS EPISODE - THERE’S A SPECIAL SURPRISE FOR YOU. DON’T MISS IT.] This week, Sakshi & Naina are addressing something they’ve never addressed before. A fresh and novel topic straight from the minds that run MOS. For the first time ever in 146 episodes. After much begging & pleading we’re finally speaking about: TRAVEL.That’s right - can’t believe we never said a word about this until now. But don’t worry we’re ready to course-correct. The girls took a lil mini-vacay to Alibaug with their respective beaus and came in strong with the tea. From the joys of having a boat guy to the legend of the kookaburra cricket bat, this one is full of trip lore featuring MOS nation’s first gentlemen. Naina gave a shoutout to couples who match your freak on vacation (AKA go to sleep at 10 pm), and Sakshi gave us the correct code of ethics when it comes to…

Women Aren’t Angry Enough

Hellooo lovely people of MOS. We’re recording from home again this week, but we promise we’ll be back to regular programming next time! This one’s a bit of a heavy conversation: we talk about the recent cases of assault against women and the fear, anger and exhaustion they’ve left us feeling. Once again, we’re asking: when will women be able to step out of their homes and feel safe? Will we see that happen in our lifetime? And how do we live with the constant worry that something could happen every time we step out? We also ask whether Mumbai is actually as safe as we keep telling ourselves it is, and talk about the things we do to protect ourselves (even though that responsibility should NOT actually be on us). We’d like to hear how you’ve been feeling too. Leave your thoughts in the comments, and share this episode with someone you’d want to have this conversation with. See you next week. Take care of yourselves and each other. Chaptering: 00:00 - Introduction 00:32 - Recent vacation deets & how foreigners…
