Kodaikanal, often referred to as the "Princess of Hill Stations," is a scenic hill town located in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Nestled in the Palani Hills of the Western Ghats, it sits at an elevation of about 2,133 meters (7,000 feet) above sea level. Known for its cool climate, lush green landscapes, and serene lakes, Kodaikanal attracts tourists with its beautiful viewpoints, such as Coaker's Walk and Dolphin's Nose, picturesque waterfalls like Silver Cascade, and the star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake. The town is also famous for its vibrant flora, including the unique Kurinji flower, which blooms once every twelve years.
